i've heard many people state that peace is a great concept, but an impossible one. I beg to vary. In my opinion that world comfort is extremely feasible. However, to achieve this, it will take effort, flexibility, and significant amounts of open-mindedness. These three things have been in extremely short supply these days.

H. Ross Perot once said that «Our nation is diseased with only doing enough to get by.» I believe this relates to most this world. Patriotism to one's country is a superb thing; however, i really believe that to experience globe comfort we truly need maybe not think about ourselves as residents of this usa, Japan, the Soviet Union, Iraq, or some other country, but rather as citizens of 1 united globe.

There are a lot of dilemmas with this planet for almost any one country to fix. As solitary nations, we can not avoid the ozone layer from entirely depleting, nor can we stop the waste of the planet's valuable nationwide resources; however, as a united crowd living on a single planet, we might manage to reverse the wanton destruction of our Earth.

We need to solve disagreements with terms and treaties, not with tools and murder. We have to rid this realm of what cause united states not to think plainly, particularly drugs and alcohol. People have stated that this just can't be achieved. They say that this generation's druggies wont, but by educating the youth, another generation has less people addicted to brain-damaging substances, and also the generation after that could have even less, and chain goes on, with a domino impact, until alcohol and drugs are virtually obliterated.

If we could simply co-operate! By maybe not giving a damn whether your neighbor is black, white or of any sex, competition, creed, age or different political party, we can repeat this. We, today's youth, are the future of the country and we can achieve globe peace. letter
