The vessel in which we see the world is the human body, so it should be healthy to fully enjoy life. The health of humans can be broken down into physical and mental health. Physical health is the state of well-being that allows us to perform our daily activities without issue. Not being physically healthy can cause physical pain, discomfort, and restricts our abilities to perform actions. Mental health is a person’s condition with regard to their psychological well-being. When we are free of all psychological problems, good mental health strengthens and supports our ability to have healthy relationships, make good life choices, handle the natural ups and downs of life, and allows us to live our lives to the fullest. Being both physically and mentally healthy is important in having a good life since having health issues regardless of it being physical or mental, causes a decrease in the enjoyment of life. To further support the idea of staying healthy, it is imperative that we also remember to do the small things that are beneficial to our body like getting enough sleep, eating properly, or getting enough exercise. By doing these small things daily it improves brain function, emotional well-being, physical health, performance, and much more.
