Harvard referencing: - There are two ways of doing Harvard citation method. The in-text citation is in the main body of the task. It has a fraction of the full bibliographic data. The reference lists are situated in the end of the chief task. It gathers all the information of all mentioned sources.

Harvard referencing varies between the types of sources. These are: -

1. Books

Citations of books are given with one author.

Last name, first initial. (Year). “Title”. Edition (If mentioned). Publication city: Publisher.

2. Articles

Citations of Issued journals.

3.4 Present a completed piece of academic work to others: -

Classes of lectures should be attended by the students all the times except few unfortunate misses due to any urgency. Its acceptable once or twice in a semester as frequent misses can distort students’ surge of study.

Before writing an assignment it is wise to conduct a research about the topics and the subject as it will be easily understandable. Meeting assignment’s requirements is an inevitable task. Even a well written assignment without the requirements won’t be favorable to instructors.

Some ways to write assignments are given below: -

Including keywords can give a proper structure to assignments which is mostly wanted by the professors.

A purposeful assignment offers a clarified understanding to the readers. Authors’ view can also be summarized as it can help to win over the professors.

4.1 Explain the idea of multiple intelligences: -

Howard Gardner once said, “It's not how smart you are that matters, what really counts is how you are smart.” This quote of him defines the multiple intelligence theory in simple words.

All students in this world cannot fit in one designated category. Each student need to be shaped up in different ways suitable for them individually. For example, students who cannot write well might have the ability to express their thoughts and feelings more effectively than others.

To fix this issue multiple intelligence theory is the tool that many educators depend on to know their students better. This theory deals with several learning techniques for different types of students.

Two of these are briefed below: -

Linguistic intelligence: - People like J. K. Rowling and Enid Blyton are best known for their legendary writings such as Harry Potter and Famous Five. These types of peoples for example, writers, novelists, dramatists are those who have the magical aptitude of expressing their feelings and thoughts through words. These types of people are linguistically intelligent.

Interpersonal intelligence: - People with socially interactive skill who can communicate and respond with people aptly are known to be interpersonally intelligent, for example, Barak Obama (politician), Joe Girard (famous salesperson) and others.

4.2 Describe a range of learning styles: -

As mentioned earlier different people attain the teachings in different learning styles and techniques. Some people can determine their ones and have dominance on the tactic alongside; some people may use different ones or a mixture of few tactics as there’s no designated tactic settled yet. This depends on different types of circumstances people face during learning.

Nowadays our schooling system is fenced between linguistic and logical methods with really minute range of learning and teaching techniques. These are based on books traditionally with no room for extended knowledge gains which are out of the books.

People need to identify their own learning styles and tactics according to their compatibility.

The seven learning styles are: -

Aural: - This specific style is for those who can grasp the conceptual ideas through sound and music.

Verbal: - People who can easily exchange their thoughts and creativity verbally and through writing can be compatible with verbal learning style.

Visual: - Photographic memory is a rare talent acquired by only a few. They can easily understand the concept and gist using photographs or images.

¬Solitary: - Some people around us prefer to work solely and study alone as their comfort zone really helps them to focus and erode their confusions.

Physical: - This style of learning can specially be adaptable for people with loss of eyesight. They can be smart enough to understand with sense of touch or by using other body parts such as their hands.

Logical: - People who prefer this learning style require systematic explanation and perfect reasoning to understand.

Social: - People who like being interactive and friendly with others to learn for instance, group studying helps them to clarify their understanding and gain knowledge.

4.3 Identify own preferred learning style: -

As different people adapt to variant learning styles I prefer auditory learning style.

As other auditory learners I like to learn new things by listening to speeches lectures and hearing different audio recordings to gather knowledge. This method is easily adaptive for me as I have really light ears.

Rather writing and making long notes I try listening to lectures and speeches with my undivided attention to grab those key words in my mind for understanding the conceptual ideas easily as I can get to recall them while reading the chapters again. I also like to read texts aloud to grasp the message easily moreover, I like to watch documentaries and other videos related to my study topics to reach for more information to clarify my perception.

4.4 Identify own study strengths and weaknesses: -

People have their own set of strengths and weaknesses for studying and conducting research. My strengths and weaknesses are gathered below: -

Strength: -

Discussing with friends.

Extra research.

Reading thoroughly.

Seeking help from teachers.
