Spiritual FreedomAmerica happens to be called the «melting pot» of the world. It houses many different cultures, nationalities, a few ideas and religions. You will find Christians, Jews, Catholics, Buddhists, Mormons, Hindus, Spiritualists, Jehovah's Witnesses, Islamic, plus additional. America is exclusive in that all of these religions are represented in a nation which just 200 years of age. And America has upheld, throughout history, that the freedom and equality of faith is very important in order for this nation to function as a free nation. Certainly, most of the freedoms are equal. On the other hand, unlike others freedoms mentioned, religious freedom addresses a different sort of need. It addresses the thought of individual satisfaction, or, self-realization. Religion tries to provide answers to basic questions: From in which did the planet come? What's the meaning of human life? How come individuals perish and what are the results later? How come there wicked? Exactly how should individuals act? As a word faith is tough to determine, but as a human experience this indicates to be universal. The 20th-century German-born United states theologian, Paul Tillich, gave an easy and basic definition of the phrase: «Religion is ultimate concern.» Which means religion includes that to which individuals are most devoted or that where they expect you'll get the most satisfaction in life.
