Opinions for and against of perception of music as a literature

According to Alyson Robey's article some people were not satisfied by Norwegians offering a Nobel Prize to Bob Dylan as it “dramatically redefined the boundaries of literature”. (Robey, 2016) Opinions on this subject divided the society and began the debate. Is it possible for records to have the same artistic qualities as novels or poetry? Discouraged audience was compromised by the fact that Dylan had written prose in the past, and his lyrics could be read as poetry. Although, is the Nobel winner the only one who's been creating some beautiful, valuable and creative body of work? Is literature past the only acceptable excuse for community to include songs as body of literature, or even higher than that?

Extending the limits of writing into the domain of sound does not decrease it but rather gives more prominent passionate access to the words. Music includes another measurement which unadulterated composing essentially cannot accomplish. Marcus Mumford from Mumford and Sons, claims that music is written when you do not know how to express your feelings, so you put it down in a poetic way, and when you add melody it is all more meaningful.
