I am the CEO of BBQfun which rendered different kinds of product which can be both domestic or imported in nature. The company has been established in 2013 and as CEO there are some operations, roles and responsibility which are performed by me to ensure proper operations within the firm the Job description of being a CEO is discussed below:

Chief Executive Officer or CEO within a company is an highest ranked executive which helps in running and managing the business. A CEO is responsible to decide the growth path of company in an prominent manner. The duties of a CEO of a company are that the company has to build work culture, setting of budget for operations within an organization, The CEO is responsible for building a management team to run business, setting up strategies for the firm, evaluation results of the operational, to ensure preparation of annual reports and manage risk within the firm. Basically a CEO runs the entire organization and sets up the whole structure of the business so that it work properly.

BBQfun has some business plans, goals and policies which are to be discussed for team and to develop my personal goals to efficiently run the business in accordance to the company's different business aspects. The business mission and vision of the company is to render good quality of outdoor lifestyle products which sets up the values for the firm which focus on creating quality, customer value and people to ensure better operations. The strategic direction of the firm is to engage customer through promotions, building reputation through quality products and services. Their business plans of the company has been differentiated into three parts which indicate towards operational plan, marketing plan and financial plan. The operational plan for the company has an objective of rendering quality products, The objective for marketing plan is to increase customer base of the firm and the financial pans sets to increase the financial strength and stability of the firm. The company follows some core policies in order to maintain there ethical code of conduct which are as follows:

Establishing four to five goals

In accordance to the above discussion of the company’s business goals, objectives, policies and plan. I as a CEO have also decided to set some goals in order enhance the overall operational efficiency within the firm in an prominent manner. Goals and objectives are as follows:

  1. To create an effective decision making management
  2. To ensure better fund allocation within the firm’s operations
  3. To set effective milestones for evaluation and monitoring of results
  4. To create better working environment and culture for the employees
  5. To optimize cost and increase profitability the firm.

Now the above stated goals are created taking into account to increase personal and temas effects to the operate the business in a more prominent way. Some goals have been set to better teamwork and management for the organization and some have been done on the basis of develop self operation for better activities within the firm. The goal of making management with effective decision making is done for the team to ensure that the team is developed for the decision making process which will help the management of the firm to make precise and fast decision for the company’s operation. The goal of better fund allocation has been kept to increase self skill of better fund allocation so that the use of monetary resources within the film is done in an more prominent manner. The goals of creatine milestone for monitoring and to optimize cost for profitability of the firm has been set for developing personal skill so that I am able to evaluate and monitor results from operation in an more significant manner and to decrease overall cost within operation to increase the firm's’ profitability. The goal of reading better work environment is done for the team so that they get better work environment to perform well which increase the business efficiency of the firm.

The Key performance indicators of the firm are as follows:

  2. Increase or decrease in company's profitability
  3. Increase or decrease in companies risk
  4. Increase or decrease a company's employee turnover

Reasoning on how KPI will help in indicating performance

Now the above are the key performance indicators based on which the performance of the company will be indicated. The KPI ill used to measure the operational, financial and managerial performance. As seen the KPI stated above say increase and decrease if customer will review the marketing ability and effect of the firm if the customers increase the marketing team of the company is efficient enough to attract customers in a prominent. Same like that increase and decrease of company’s profitability will show the company financial standards and stability through there operation. Increase and decrease of company's risk will show whether the company has been managing risk properly or not and increase or decrease of employee turnover will show whether the company has an efficient Human resources management or not. All combined will show the company’s effect as an working unit which can be measured very easily.

Explaining on how I will maintain performance under varying conditions and contingencies

The management of the firm will change strategies and pathways to deal with viewing condition and contingency. For example of the company has seen that risk of financial loss is high in some investment the company will not look to invest in such conditions but invest in a safer options.

Explaining how will I capitalize my threat and weakness through my strength and opportunities

Through use of my strength and opportunities will try and capitalize my failure through continuous development of skills and optimization of weakness and threats. For example If I have strength in communicaio I will use thus strength of mine in developing my weakness through effective conversation of development with other which will be able to give current and wise advises. In this by using my strengths I will try and develop my weakness and optimize the fore coming threats.

Considering a range of activities to advance work goals and prioritizing possible activities

There are range of activities and work goals which the CEO of a company has to achieve and work for. Now being a CEO mean I Have prioritize works which need outright attention and need to be focused on for the betterment of the business. Personal skills development has a huge impact on professional working environment. If I develop a skill of being a better decision maker will be good in decision making for the business. The process which I have used for prioritizing my work has been developed by me as a personal skill I need. As a CEO the CEO has to make decisions which optimize risk and increase the efficacy of the company. Hence I have prioritize my work in accordance to activities which I fell will increase efficiency of the business in a significant manner. It is to be noted that whichever activity is felt to increase the efficiency prominently and is noted to be a more valuable activity for the business and will tend to increase the overall profitability is prioritized in regards of other activities which is conducted within the business. Now it is important that managing such method are also very important as this helps in better maintenance of activities. Hence the following method will be managed in regards of changing activities demand. When there is a need of some other activity which is to be fixed then that activity will be prioritized hence demand of that activity is needed in order to ensure effect within the prioritization of activities.

Setting an example before asking someone to do it is an very efficient ways through which one can be a role model. It is important that CEO leads from the front and creates work plan and activities which is doable by him. Then only the worker will admire and aspire to be and perform activities set out by the CEO. I also set plan which are doable by myself an am able to repaint the whole process which is the key through which I can become an role model to other at workplace and motivate the team to work effectively in accordance to the plan .

Maintaining life balance is also a very important task to perform in order to be mentally fresh and ready to perform professional duties. I manage life and work balance by limiting hours of work in which I work only. After much time i get time to spend within my family. I manage stress and pressure through taking vacation in some period of time which helps in managing physical and mental stress of work.

Required approved qualifications along with the work based experiences of the CEO makes him quite competent for the organizational activities and operations.

The organizational operations and activities and the requirement of experiences can be found with the CEO. presence of mind as well as the flexibility to adapt with the changing condition gives him the upper hand i the organizational leader bench.
