In July of 2013, we launched our Toast Point of Sale that gave us an opportunity to be accepted quickly by the restaurant community in our hometown of Boston and grew quickly from there. Through word of mouth the growth of our community continued to accelerate. Restaurants on Toast are coming up increasingly as referrals from existing customers.

Today we remain passionately focused on serving our community of restaurateurs. Whether it is in person at their community events, Food for Thought, or through an online class available through our Toast University, we are committed to authorizing the entrepreneurs, and creators that power our industry.

There’s also been tremendous growth in the industry – the number of delivery and dine out restaurants are increasing rapidly. More and more people opt for either booking a table in advance or placing an online order for a great dining experience. We already see an increase in reservations happening per month.

We aim to be the largest processor of table reservations globally. On top of that, restaurants delight their guests by offering our loyalty programs for all the reservations made through our platform.
